Au.D. Student Jennifer Whittaker Elected President of SAA Board of Directors

Congratulations to third-year Au.D. student Jennifer Whittaker on her election as President of the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Board of Directors for the 2017-18 academic year. Jennifer is the current Vice-President of Washington University’s SAA Chapter, as well as member at large and undergraduate committee chair for national SAA. She’s also served on national SAA’s Programs Sub-Committee.
Jennifer earned bachelor’s degrees in Speech & Hearing Sciences and English from The College of New Jersey. During her enrollment at Washington University School of Medicine, she’s worked with Dr. William Clark as a graduate assistant in the first-year Electroacoustics course and as a research assistant in Dr. Jeff Lichtenhan’s Auditory Physiology Lab. She’s also the current recipient of the James and Judy Seeser Annual Scholarship. Jennifer will be completing her fourth-year externship at Nemours/Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE.
