PACS encourages and supports student participation in organizations that provide leadership, education, and service opportunities. These organizations are student-initiated and student-led, and a wide variety of options are available at the university level.
- Within PACS, the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) is the student organization for Doctor of Audiology (AuD) students. SAA is the national student organization of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and serves as a collective voice for audiology students and advances the rights, interests, and welfare of students pursuing careers in audiology.
- PACS students also actively participate in the School of Medicine’s Health Professions Student Leadership Council (HPSLC), an interdisciplinary student organization that promotes collaboration across health care disciplines.
- The Student’s Association of Speech and Hearing is a student-run organization for undergraduates with an interest in the fields of speech and hearing sciences.
