Team of researchers receives OVCR seed grant to look at language processing in d/hh children

We’re happy to share that the WUSM Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research has awarded a seed grant to a team of researchers including Dr. Mitch Sommers (Psychological and Brain Sciences), Dr. Joe Barcroft (Languages and Literatures), Dr. Nancy Tye-Murray (Otolaryngology), and Dr. Heather Grantham (PACS). They will receive funding for their project, “Using Principles of Cognitive Psychology and Second Language Acquisition to Improve Language Processing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children.” Congratulations on this exciting collaboration!
