The Washington University Program in Audiology and Communication Sciences Commencement Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at The Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC) in the main auditorium. EPNEC is located on the Medical School campus at 320 S. Euclid Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.

WashU has implemented several policy changes for the safety and convenience of our community during the university ceremony as well as the school recognition ceremonies and events. The changes include information on tickets for each ceremony, bag policies, and prohibited items.

Danforth Ceremony – Graduates may not bring any bags of any type onto Francis Olympic Field, or into the school ceremonies.
PACS Recognition Ceremony – We strongly encourage not to bring bags, if possible.
PACS Guests are strongly encouraged not to bring bags to our ceremony. The following types of bags are recommended, if possible, but not required:
- Clear plastic bags (these are required on Danforth), not to exceed 14”x14”x4”. Clear bags will be available and free of charge in parking locations and at the ceremony entrances, for those who need them.
- Small clutch-type wallets or purses not to exceed 4”x6”. Diaper bags are allowed for those with small children, but will be inspected.
- Medically necessary equipment is permitted after inspection.
The following items are prohibited in all university and school ceremonies and events, and are subject to confiscation:
- Air horns and other artificial noisemakers
- Animals, except assistance animals
- Banners or signs larger than 2’x3’ (no poles of any kind will be allowed)
- Food and drink (except water)
- Firearms and weapons
- Laser lights
- Balloons, glitter and confetti
- Unmanned aircraft/drones
Yes, tickets will be required for both the All-University and the PACS Recognition ceremonies. However, there is no limit on the number of tickets available for each grad. Seats are also available on a first come, first served basis. More details to come from the university and from PACS.
Yes, the ceremony will be livestreamed from our PACS Commencement webpage on Monday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. More details to come.
The PACS Recognition ceremony is held indoors so the ceremony will go on as scheduled rain or shine.
The All University Commencement Ceremony is held outdoors on the Danforth Campus. The ceremony will go on as scheduled rain or shine. In the event of rain, ponchos will be available to all graduates and guests. The Commencement ceremony may be shortened.
The university-wide Commencement will be announced during the Class of 2025 Toast on March 31, 2025 on Brookings Quad. More details forthcoming.
Parking will be very limited on the Danforth and Medical School campuses during the Commencement Ceremonies; please take this into consideration when you are making your plans for the day. You may wish to take MetroLink if you are able to.
Parking will be available on the Medical School’s campus in the Metro Garage down the street from EPNEC. It is located at the corner of Taylor and Children’s place at 4560 Children’s Place. You are requested to park on levels 6-7.
Each graduate will be given one parking validation for the Medical School’s Metro Garage the day of the event. They can use for themselves or give to a family member.
